DRIP (2025)

Founded by Jock Thomson in Glasgow in 2024, DRIP is a queer club night built around community, sexuality, hedonism, and a shared love of dance music. A party to sweat at, DRIP embraces the messy, excessive, and uninhibited possibilities of the dancefloor as a space for pleasure, connection, and self-expression.

Thomson’s photography has been central to DRIP’s visual identity from its beginnings. Shot entirely on 35mm film, the images document the community surrounding the night while reflecting its distinctly sensual and playful character. Club kids, DJs, performers, friends, and strangers are captured through direct flash: dancing, kissing, posing, sweating, and losing themselves in the crowd.

Moving between documentation and image-making, the photographs celebrate both the spectacle of the party and the intimate encounters that emerge within it. Together, they form an evolving archive of DRIP and the people who make it- one rooted in queer pleasure, collective release, and the freedom to be excessive.
